About the dashboard
The campus has discontinued updating the COVID-19 dashboard daily case counts and vaccination rates. As home antigen tests are increasingly used, confirmed case counts from PCR testing have become a less accurate indicator of total cases and public health officials are increasingly focused on community level hospitalizations and deaths to better represent the effect of COVID-19 on the community and the healthcare system. We will continue to post locations on campus where reported COVID-19 cases were during their infectious period. Historical data will remain on UCI Forward dashboard page.

Notification
Potential Workplace Exposure
Assembly Bill 685 requires employers to notify all employees who were at a worksite of all potential exposures to COVID-19 and notify the local public health agency of outbreaks.

For anyone who has been potentially exposed as a close contact (a close contact is someone you were within 6 feet of for at least 15 minutes within a 24 hour period), they will be contacted directly by UCI’s UCI Contact Tracing & Vaccine Navigation Services and provided appropriate instructions.
The following locations were identified yesterday as places where people were on campus during their infectious periods.

Standard Infection Control Practices in State Supported Spaces
Routine cleaning includes:
- Cleaning frequently touched surfaces that are touched by many different people, light switches; handrails, elevator buttons and door handles
- Dusting and wet mopping or auto scrubbing hard surface floors
- Vacuuming entry ways and high traffic areas
- Removing trash
- Cleaning rest rooms
- Cleaning spills
