Graduate Stage Moment and guests!

Graduates of the Class of 2021 and Class of 2020 will be able to sign up to participate in our Graduate Stage Moments – a special in-person procession and individual commemoration – at which they will have their names read aloud, proceed across the Commencement stage inside the Bren Events Center and have their photographs taken.

We are excited to share that graduates may invite up to 2 guests to accompany them during the procession. Guests will have a front row view to cheer on their graduates as they cross the stage in front of their peers.

These recognitions will be carried out in accordance with public health guidelines and will be offered over the course of several days from June 13 - 17.

All graduating undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate and must pre-register for a specific time slot. Graduates also may organize with their peers to commence together. We will share details about how to sign up in the weeks ahead.

Appropriate regalia is required for all in-person celebrations. Graduates will need to purchase their regalia and allow ample time for delivery.

All graduates and guests must wear face coverings at all times, although graduates may remove their mask briefly for a photo while on stage. Graduates and their guests will be spaced at least six feet from other attendees at all times. All guests should be fully vaccinated. If guests can not be fully vaccinated, they should receive a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to coming on campus. Any student or guest traveling or visiting from outside California should self-quarantine per public health guidelines.

The stage moment recognitions will be livestreamed so that others can join virtually.
