Asymptomatic testing site hours & relocation

Section 1

July 27, 2021

To maintain a healthy Anteater environment and help control the spread of coronavirus within the community, UCI has established active, ongoing testing for students, faculty and staff on campus.

Asymptomatic testing is for on-campus students, staff and faculty who do not have symptoms. For information on testing, including how to schedule your recurring tests, visit the UCI Forward site. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and responded “Yes” to the Daily Symptom Screener, students should complete and submit the online screening survey for “Yes” responders on the UCI Student Health Center Patient Portal. A nurse will contact you within 24 hours with instructions.

COVID-19 testing is currently completed via a supervised self-administered nasal swab test, is cost-free to eligible groups on campus, and results are available within 24 - 72 hours.

  3. Testing exemption – Students who are fully vaccinated (14 days after their last shot) and upload their vaccination records will not be required to participate in the Asymptomatic Testing Program. Students should expect to receive verification of their test exemption from CTVNS through a message in their UCI-SHC Patient Portal. The ZotPass will also reflect your exempt status within 24 hours of your verification.

If you have not received your verification, please call CTVNS at 949.824.2300. Students should continue testing until they receive their verification from CTVNS. Student-Athletes may still be required to test regularly based on their rules and regulations for competition. Student-Athletes should check with UCI Intercollegiate Athletics for additional guidance on testing.
