UCI to Provide At-Home COVID Tests to Campus Employees

In an ongoing effort to help keep UCI employees Working Well™, and in realizing the difficulty in obtaining at-home COVID tests at this time, UCI will be supplying all campus employees with two at-home COVID-19 antigen tests.
The tests will be distributed beginning Friday, January 7 from noon to 5:00 p.m. and then next week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while supplies last.
The tests can be picked up at the kiosk located just off West Peltason Drive between Campus Drive and Pereira Drive, adjacent to the Mesa Court housing parking lot. Please follow on-site directional signage.
Proof of employment will be required to obtain your tests. Please bring your ID and a NON-FORWARDED copy of this ZotMail with you, either as a hard copy or on your phone. Alternatively, you may show your employee photo ID card.
If you use an at-home test and test positive, please do the following:
- Do not come on-site.
- Report your case following instructions on the UCI Forward page.
- Do not call or wait for a call from the UCI Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) or Contact Tracing and Vaccine Navigation Services (CTVNS). CTVNS has prioritized student cases in on-campus housing and employee cases for case interviews, but there may be a delay in response time due to high case volumes being reported.
- Go to the UCI Isolation and Quarantine web page for directions on isolation, quarantining, and return-to-work clearance.
All campus employees may continue to test at any UCI testing location for any reason in addition to using the at-home tests. Click here for a complete list of UCI campus testing locations and hours.
