Information for Campus Visitors
UCI COVID-19 Visitor Guidance
If you plan to visit campus, please check with your campus contact for any special considerations or precautions for your visit. Also, take the time to familiarize yourself with the following general guidelines.
Adhere to California Department of Public Health (CDPH) guidance for face coverings.
Visitors/non-affiliates will self-attest to their vaccination status – see below.
When visitors/non-affiliates are invited by departments for meetings, training, conferences, etc., departments should collect and maintain visitor/non-affiliate contact information in the event it is needed for contact tracing purposes.
Campus organizers of events, such as sporting competitions, arts performances, etc., are not required to collect visitor/non-affiliate data.
Visitors/non-affiliates must follow UCI’s Face Covering Executive Directive, and those visitors/non-affiliates who are not fully vaccinated must wear a face covering when required under Section A.2 of the Executive Directive unless an exception applies (i.e.: medical, under 2 years of age, etc.).
UCI will deem a visitor/non-affiliate to have self-attested to being fully vaccinated, or to have met an approved face covering exemption, if they enter a UCI building and are not wearing a face covering.
